Here are examples of what the Fenland Community Angels can offer:
· Provide Companionship to improve mental health
· Well-being chats in person or by phone
· Help with on-line application forms
· Reading post and deal with any calls that may be needed
· Travel assistance
· Accompany to medical appointments
· Collecting prescriptions
· Collecting small items of shopping
· Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming and changing bedding
· Pet care / Light gardening
· Observe, monitor and record any changes to clients physical and emotional well-being, and promptly report any changes to family members or medical professionals

Would you like a personal assistant?
Our self-employed Personal Assistants offer one to one social support to those living in their own homes, so you don’t have to rely on busy family members.
Many people do not want the club or day centre option, instead preferring to have the freedom to visit the garden centre, pottering in the garden, being taken to visit a friend, playing cards or dominoes, or going out for a meal.
Whatever you would like to do!
Why choose us?
Our Personal Assistants are friendly and very experienced, have up to date DBS (the old CRB check), transport and relevant insurances, and you will have the same person each time. You may just want someone to go shopping with, or for them to run some errands for you.
Our service is truly tailored to the person and their wishes.

Individual support plans
We can build a support plan that is individual to your own personal needs, but unfortunately, we do not do
personal care at this time.
Our clients self-fund or gain financial support from their local Social Services Budget.
The hourly rate varies depending on services required.
Prices start at £16.00 per hour for a home visit and £18.00 per hour for accompanied visits out of the home.
We are fully insured and registered with Cambridge County Council. So if you receive funding from them, we can also accept direct payments.
Our expertise
We are skilled and experienced professionals with many years experience in supporting vulnerable clients.
We have experience of working in sheltered housing, housing support and domestic abuse. Also lived as a wife in the Forces for many years, so will enjoy swopping stories with you if you are ex-forces!
We work in a person centred way, letting you take the lead, to ensure you are happy with the support you receive from us.
Our Story
At Fenland Community Angels, we started with a simple idea:
to provide reliable and compassionate home support services to maintain independence!
When trying to juggle my career, family and my mothers needs, I felt guilty that I didn't have the time to do more, and wanted someone I could rely on and trust. This is where the idea came from - using my experience of supporting the vulnerable or elderly.
We serve the needs of our clients with dedication and professionalism, as though they are family.
A member of NACAS
We are officially registered, a member of National Association of Care & Support Workers, have liability Insurance and ensure that all training is up to date to remain professional.
